Carbon footprint offset

Details

Re-Rug emerged from the decision to use the wool leftovers accumulated by our suppliers.
Each Re-Rug uses 1kg/m2 of reprocessed wool, thereby directly helping to shrink unmanaged waste, as well as reducing CO2 emissions, since no virgin material needs to be produced or transported. The result is a unique, circular collection that is composed of 50% virgin wool and 50% reused wool.
Each Re-Rug combines different shades to create a marbled effect.

Fibers

50% New Zealand Wool

Typically, New Zealand wool is known to be the whitest, cleanest, purest and most natural wool in the world. Its softness is due in part to the altitude and the vegetation available to the herds. It is guaranteed to be cruelty-free.

50% recycled wool

The use of recycled lances contributes directly to the reduction of unmanaged waste, as well as to the reductions of Co2 emissions, since virgin material does not need to be produced or transported. The tone of these threads preserves the irregularity and tonal richness of the mountains of wool.

Re-Rug collection

Re-Rug arose from the decision to use the surplus wool accumulated by our suppliers. This initiative is the result of a long research process, the challenge of recovering these wools to create a new yarn suitable for weaving.

Each Re-Rug uses 1kg/m2 of reprocessed wool, thus contributing directly to the reduction of unmanaged waste, as well as to the reduction of CO2 emissions, since it is not necessary to produce virgin material.

The hallmark of this collection is the intention to preserve the irregularity and tonal richness of the wool remnants. This challenge led us to experiment with new processes through which we have managed to maintain multiple colors.
